“Rachel Replogle is a Ball State Senior majoring in film and theatre, but she is also a Muncie native. Through her production company, Replogle Studios, she offers photo and video services ranging from advertisements, to music videos, to fundraisers and short films. Her background in directing theatre has given her an ability to tell stories in a way that reaches the hearts of audiences. Her $100 Music Video campaign is a way to give quality video services to artists at an affordable price.

I am Maya Doss, an artist based in Bloomington, IN. We are all connected, yet all so very different. We are all made of the same sacred geometry and organic material, yet we have so much to teach each other. These universalistic connections are what inspire me as an artist. I hope you enjoy seeing my perspective on the 28th!


Do For Three is a hip hop collective pushing faith, hope, & love through music.  The roster consists of Alvin the Architect , Chris Mack, & LJ – all very distinct artists (Alvin providing melodic island/dance vibes from the sounds of Haiti, Chris with soulful / R&B tracks, & LJ with darker, cinematic and hip hop songs). The fusion of these worlds showcase the diversity of the craft and the wide spectrum that faith, hope, & love can fall upon.

Dwayne ‘Switchflip’ Kole, there’s no real way to pinpoint this artist to any specific genre, As this producer/artist is the definition of diversity. From country to hip-hop, the man can do it all, & is never afraid to showcase his talents.


Artist ‘Ignatius Daylight Laurent’ is professionally known for his unique creative perspective on society and the culture within them. His unique personality stands out, and speaks for itself when you consuming his craft.


Sly Ross

Born in Gary, Indiana, Sly Ross is a talented hip-hop artist who seems to master the art of versatility. Coming from a diverse scene of influence in the Indiana State, Sly Ross’ music has the sound of southern bounce and Midwest flair, mashed together in a flashy matrimony. And let’s not forget, this self proclaimed “Fat Gawd” can rap.


AlliCat

AlliCat is an American Hip-Hop/R&B artist from Mansfield, Ohio. Her style is informative, yet versatile. Her punchlines are poignant, and her commercial delivery is piercing, yet welcomed by all. Citing artists Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, and Nicki Minaj as the inspiration behind her pursuit of a music career, AlliCat recorded her first track in 2005, while assigned to duty as a Combat Medic in the United States Army.

AlliCat has shared stages with Boosie BadAzz, Kevin Gates, MIGOS, Mike Jones, and more. To date, AlliCat has released 2 EPs, and has garnered nearly 1 million digital spins worldwide.

AlliCat has received 2 Independent Music Award nominations (2016/2018), 5 Southern Coalition Music Award nominations (2017), as well as performance accolades for her service and community support from the US Army (2012), The NAACP – Honolulu Chapter (2013), and Honorable Mention from Zeta Phi Beta, Inc (2016).

Since 2003, Outlet has been the elite Hip Hop Dance Troupe on Ball State’s campus. Outlet has won Airjam, BSU Homecoming’s lip-syncing and dance competition, 11 years straight. In 2016, they won a dance and video competition, RedBull Bracket Reel, against several other collegiate teams nationwide. As an outlet for creativity and opportunity for connection, we celebrate diversity and inclusivity. You can see us as feature performers at events around our campus and state. At J.Dion Performance Academy we plan to provide training and opportunities for youth and adults, especially in communities lacking arts like our own. Being Indiana natives and knowing there is a well of talent within our community, we plan to provide creative resources and opportunities for it and communities like it. It means a great deal to us. 

We will offer training in classes, opportunities to audition for paid gigs, and exercises to find the inner confidence we all deserve to have.
